About the Czech for Foreigners Portal

The Czech for Foreigners portal comprises the website Permanent Residence and Citizenship and a part devoted to registered users.

The Permanent Residence website provides information for foreigners as well as for examiners and the general public. The columns for foreigners are offered in nine language versions, including Czech. The columns for examiners are available in Czech and English. It is possible to find basic information about the exam on the website, i.e., when and where it is taking place, what it costs to take, what it contains and what are the terms and conditions for taking it. Interested parties can try out a model (sample) test and download information and study materials for the exam. The website also includes basic information about applying for permanent residence in the Czech Republic. The section for examiners contains more detailed information in the columns and other modules for registered users.

The Citizenship website provides information for Czech citizenship applicants in five languages, including Czech. The General Information section includes information about the primary legislation related to granting Czech citizenship, general information about the exam, i.e., when and where it is taking place, what it costs to take, what it contains and what are the terms and conditions for taking it. The Czech Life and Institutions Exam section is a detailed guide to the exam, include the applicable rules, exam specifications and interactive sample test. A complete Test Question Database on Czech life and institutions is also part of this section. The Czech Language Exam includes basic information about the exam, i.e., when and where it is taking place, what it costs to take, what it contains and what are the terms and conditions for taking it.
